Welcome to Park Road Surgery
Our mission is to provide an effective healthcare service in order to meet the medical needs of our patients, and encourage health promotion to improve the health of our patients.
Dr Rachel Darroch - A sad farewell
It is with regret we must announce the departure of Dr Rachel Darroch. After 14 years of service to Park Road Surgery and her patients she is leaving to concentrate on other avenues. We are very sad to be losing Dr Darroch and she will be missed by patients, staff and doctors. We all wish her well for the future.
Dr Darroch's last working day will be 23rd March 2012.
We are currently in the process of recruiting a new GP for the Surgery and will keep you up to date via the website. In the interim we do have a good mix of male and female GP's at the Surgery currently, with numerous trainees and two lovely female GP's , Dr Dhunna and Dr Liyanage. In addition the other Partners remain in post. You can see any GP at the surgery and we hope there is a doctor to suit everyone.
Dr Susan Denton
Due to Dr Darroch's departure, Dr Denton has taken on the training responsibilities of Dr Darroch until August 2012, and consequently only has a limited number of appointments available each week. You may therefore find it easier to book an appointment with another doctor. We thank you for your understanding.

LIST CLEANSING
Surrey PCT with the help from the PCSS (the people who manage Primary Care Data including patient lists) are working to maintain the accuracy of our patient register. To this end the PCSS (Primary Care Support Service) will be writing to patients on our list over the coming weeks. These letters must NOT be ignored. Please complete the form included and return to the PCSS. FAILURE TO DO THIS WILL RESULT IN THE PCSS REMOVING YOU FROM THE PARK ROAD SURGERY REGISTER AND YOU WILL HAVE TO RE-REGISTER.
TAKE NO ACTION UNTIL YOU RECEIVE THE LETTER FROM THE PCSS.
If you have difficulty reading the document the PCSS can provide an audio tape, large print, Braille or version on computer disc.
Summary Care Records (SCR)
The SCR or NHS Spine will be moving to the data collection stage in June/July 2012. This means that some of your medical information will be uploaded onto the national spine for access by other health professionals in contact with you across the country.
If you DO NOT want your information to be included on this spine you must opt out. This can be done either by telling you GP (in writing), or by completing an official form avilable through the link below - and then handing this to reception at the surgery or posting it in.
